ALERT: Content is protected and Ctrl+U Disabled

On many sites, I have seen this warning many times. ALERT: Content is protected !! and “ALERT: You are not allowed to copy content or view source.” (Ctul+U disabled).

Which plugin is this? Can someone tell me name/link?

And I personally don’t like website who uses this kind of content protection plugin because anyone can bypass this easily.

view-source:https://www.example.com and F12 to open inspect tool.

But I, because normal people copies my content and sharing on other platforms.

They can do the same after this, there are console commands available to bypass this kind of protection. There are also chrome extentions to bypass this :confused:

But why do you want to protect your source code?

Since most people will copy directly from your website, implementing a right-click disabler will help better.
Have you tried it yet?

body {

  -webkit-touch-callout: none; /* iOS Safari */
    -webkit-user-select: none; /* Safari */
     -khtml-user-select: none; /* Konqueror HTML */
       -moz-user-select: none; /* Firefox */
        -ms-user-select: none; /* Internet Explorer/Edge */
            user-select: none; /* Non-prefixed version, currently
                                  supported by Chrome and Opera */
}

Light weight approach. :slight_smile:

How do you make codes look good?

We can do preformatting with below two steps

  1. Select code
  2. Click on </> icon before hitting reply button.

If you are asking about beautified CSS, that is done online https://www.cleancss.com/css-beautify/

Yes, I was asking for this.Thanks :slight_smile:

Perfect.

Anything like this to stop right click thieves who steal images. :rage:

@GulshanKumar what it will do actually?

For this reason

Simply blocking right click will not stop thieves from stealing images. They can drag image easily.

<script>
// disable right-click context menu
document.addEventListener('contextmenu', event => event.preventDefault());

// disable dragging for images
jQuery("img").mousedown(function(){
    return false;
});

</script>

Dost @anon13276939, this is CSS so add this in “Additional CSS” in your WordPress customizer. :slight_smile:

edit: sorry for the typo, Grammarly not working :frowning:

Oh, so much love between @anon13276939 and @anon24234743 these days! :slight_smile:

@anon24234743 I think your name “ESSKEETIT Sir Bhyankar Son Pari Negi Jee” orignated from the old meme of “Bhyankar Thandi Be*r” :sunglasses:
