Amp settings issue on my side

Hello Gulshan Kumar,

I have contacted to Amp support but they didn’t get to solve, they just guide me to play with settings.

Here is a website which is using AMP for each & every Single Post, but categories are non Amp. So when we check category URL in Amp version https://www.shoutmeloud.com/category/adsense/amp/ it’s redirects to non Amp version https://www.shoutmeloud.com/category/adsense/ & in my case when we check https://domain.com/entertainment/amp/ it’s redirects to “”Oops! That page can’t be found.“”
In short I mean to say it should be redirects from https://domain.com/entertainment/amp/ to non Amp version https://domain.com/entertainment/

Another example:- when we check this URL in amp version https://thedigitalwise.com/category/movies/amp it’s redirecting to non amp version https://thedigitalwise.com/category/movies

I have send you my website link in private msg.

Thank you.

Hello dear,

Very happy new year!

Do you have AMP enabled on your site for Category?

No, I don’t want to enable amp on categories

Happy New Year

Thanks

I understand you want to disable AMP for category, that should be your AMP plugin feature. You need to check with its Developer to know how to properly disable.

Can you understand this, because I have followed this guide but failed!

Hi,

Currently your website is not using AMP on any web page.

You can set a redirect all pages from its AMP to NON-AMP to prevent 404

# Redirect from AMP to non-AMP path
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} (.+)/amp(.*)$
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/wp-content/(.*)$
RewriteRule ^ %1/ [R=301,L]

No, it’s using Amp…

Check inbox.

Yes, it seems enabled for post only.

Try another plugin AMP official one.

Or Newspaper also has one that you can try.

Only AMP for WP plugin has feature to select required post/page/category to show AMP or not.

Also auto load to next post too
