GitHub has 1 GB monthly limit about bandwidth, and 100 MB per file size limitations.
I would disagree the idea about using GitHub as alternative of Google Drive.

Try AWS S3 (You will pay only what you will use).
Bunnycdn cloud storage is also good…
I use it automattic offsite backup of server…
Princing is cheap… 0.01$ / GB
It is actually 1gb per repository and not monthly limit.

Every account using Git Large File Storage receives 1 GB of free storage and 1 GB a month of free bandwidth.
It is for large file storage.
