Featured snippit changes

Google’s Danny Sullivan confirmed that if you have a featured snippet, they will no longer repeat the listing in the top 10 Here is his tweet:

“If a web page listing is elevated into the featured snippet position, we no longer repeat the listing in the search results. This declutters the results & helps users locate relevant information more easily. Featured snippets count as one of the ten web page listings we show.”

That basically means even if you are position 0 that is the snippet you will lose some traffic. I can see some of my posts that were position 0 and position 1 being effected by it today.
What do you guys think!

It will result in less clicks for top positions as featured snippets receive less clicks compared to normal listings.
