Moving low ranking domain to subdomain

Hey!!! I have one website, it has been ranking well in google, it quit long (2months) ago, the ranking dropped without a Google algorithm update.

I’ve tried my best in optimization and still no way forward, …now my question!..

I want to create a subdomain like; www1.example.com and move the ecample.com to it… with this can I get a better ranking?

Initially, the website is a music download site, but I later add news content to it, I was like could that be the problem??

If you have good ranking on example.com or www.example.com it is because site has good SEO. That will not benefit a subdomain.example.com for ranking purpose.

  • Google treat a domain and subdomain as seperate site.
  • If you’ve a different niche in mind for subdomain than root, I would suggest getting a new domain.
  • If you believe similar, example.com/subdirectory/ is a decent option.

Google treats subdirectory the same as root!

getting a new domain is still like creating a subdomain, just a little different.
