Problem with my ordered lising

I have added a listing on my WordPress edition but on the frontend, it seems like there is no listing or numbering.
The text seems in a new para but isn’t and the ordered lists are not shown
I’m using the genesis theme with a custom element blog page.

ol li {
  list-style-type: decimal;
  display: list-item;
  }
