Is it mandatory that, who has a news website only can take the approval of Google News or any normal niche bloggers can also apply for the same.
For example I have a website with Linux and Coding niche. Can i apply for Google news approval.

Google says:
“Publishers are automatically considered for Top stories or the News tab of Search. They just need to produce high-quality content and comply with Google News content policies.”
Your niche doesn’t belong to any kind of news.
