Can we insert SSD directly into CPU MB?

(Enjoy Your Life) #174

If it is M.2 version and M.2 port available on the motherboard then yes.

(Enjoy Your Life) #176

Your Motherboard also supports M.2 SSD, Why have you not bought this one: https://www.amazon.in/Samsung-860-EVO-Internal-MZ-N6E250BW/dp/B07864V6CK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1532185648&sr=8-1&keywords=Samsung+m.2

I am using this one

What is difference in both I am not getting?

(Enjoy Your Life) #178

You forgot something: double price

(Enjoy Your Life) #181

Nope, prices are almost same.

(Manashjyoti Athparia) #182

You have listed sata m.2 ssd not nvme. Both sata m.2 and nvme m.2 are different. Nvme drives don’t use sata interface

(Enjoy Your Life) #183

I’m not talking about nvme m.2, nvme is much faster than sata drives. That’s why I said

(Manashjyoti Athparia) #184

Ohh I thought you were talking about nvme because you post that nvme comparison video

(Enjoy Your Life) #185

Ohh Yes the confusion occurred due to video, I have posted the video for seeing difference between all type drives.

(Pramod Kumar) #186

Nvme m.2 Ssd is 7x faster than Sata Ssd.
